Elise’s Story
As a young person, I knew I had a call on my life to ministry, but I had no idea how I would get there. It wasn’t until a pastor took a chance on 22-year-old me that I began to really walk in my calling.
Sometimes, it just takes a leader who sees, who affirms the call, and empowers the young person to lead. There were many who wanted me to fit into the stereotypical ministry box they’d already seen, but God had called me to build things that didn’t yet exist.
In every role I’ve ever held in church ministry, I’ve built things from the ground up, investing in individuals who, just like me, were called to ministry. Along with consulting for churches to invest in the next generation of leaders through church pipelines, my early ministry life was building two successful leadership-college programs in two different churches over the course of 7 years, with many leaders still serving in ministry today as the churches hired them through the pipeline.
There were many moments along the way that I questioned how I could keep going with the challenges I’d faced in those early years, just like 50% of pastors who don’t make it past 5 years. Had I quit, I’m not sure where those young leaders would be today. Every ‘yes’ matters.
I needed community.
I needed accountability.
I needed encouragement.
I needed resources.
After over a decade spent investing in the next generation of leaders, God placed a vision on my heart to close this gap. We have the least number of incoming pastors cross-denominationally to take the mantle of ministry. Ministry isn’t easy, where quitting seems to be. The next generation doesn’t need fluff - they need support and encouragement.
The Church needs more leaders to step into the call of God. The Church needs a succession plan. The Church needs to empower those who are willing to say yes. The Church needs leaders who last. We exist to support this need.
Our three focuses are Evangelism, Community, and Resources. Through Evangelism and speaking, thousands of people come alive to their purpose of God’s mission. Through Community, we provide a pipeline from evangelism ministry to ongoing support and access through cohorts and membership. Through Resourcing, the giving away of being filled up in Him is our aim - devotionals, content, encouragement. It’s about impact, reach, and ultimately growing God’s Kingdom.
There’s a ripple effect in God’s Kingdom with every ‘yes’ in obedience to His call. We’ll keep saying yes. The next generation will change the world; we stand ready to empower them. This is the Ripple Effect.
